Guarantee

I guarantee the quality of my products. Note that everything is hand knitted which means that the garments may have small imperfections.

If requested I will adjust patterns to accommodate different sizes in which case what you receive may look slightly different to that pictured on this website. Colours also tend to look different on different screens, so the colours in the finished garment may not exactly match the colours you see on your screen.

I cannot accept any responsibility for damage resulting from your improper care. My products are made from pure new materials, and they must be treated according to the care label; either dry-cleaned or hand washed in lukewarm water (according to the instructions) and then dried flat. They must not be bleached or tumble dried.

Returns

I believe that you will be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you are not fully satisfied with the quality, you can return it to me (provided that it is in ‘as new’ condition) within 14 days of receipt for a full refund. I will not refund the return cost of post and packaging but will send a UK cheque in sterling for the original cost.

If the practicalities of postage make it difficult for you to return a product within 14 days of receipt I will consider extending the timeframe for the return of the item. I will only accept a longer timeframe for the return of goods if you have contacted me, prior to the expiry of the 14-day period, to ask for more time to return the goods.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

Exchanges

My products are individually made and therefore cannot be exchanged.

Postage and packing

Postage and packing to UK addresses are included in the knitwear cost. Postage and packing to the US will cost up to an additional £12. Postage and packing to the EU will cost up to an additional £7. If you live outside the UK, USA or EU, I will let you know the postage and packing costs when you place your order.

Making a Purchase

You may order online through the contact page on this site. I will need you to tell me the product name and any changes that you may need to standard sizing and your delivery address. If you want the garment made up in a colourway other than that shown in the picture, please let me know which colourway you would like. When I receive your order I will acknowledge it together with my mail contact details and a statement of any additional costs, whether as a result of changes to standard sizing and/or delivery outside the UK, US or EU. This response indicates that I have received and priced your order and does not indicate that a contract exists between us.

Once you have received this response I expect payment in full for the product and, if appropriate, any additional costs due to postage and packing and/or changes in sizing. I accept UK cheques in sterling or sterling transfers to my bank account. If you prefer to transfer the funds direct to my bank account, please say so when you place your order and I will provide you with the necessary details when I acknowledge your order.

I will send you an email to indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when I have received your payment in full. The email will include an anticipated delivery date. If this date should later change I will contact you again to give you a reason and a new anticipated date.
